Oakley Coach

We have a background working in both the NHS and private healthcare sector, and experience in executive business positions. With our first-hand experience, we have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those within the field of healthcare.

We work with both individuals and teams, and our aim is to empower you through powerful questioning techniques, allowing insights to come forth organically which will improve both your performance at work and at home. Coaching as a team will help you build stronger relationships so you are able to overcome obstacles and challenges together with a positive mindset and move forward as a cohesive team.

With the constantly-changing landscape of healthcare, coaching creates a time, space and structure for practices to discuss and implement positive change to remain ahead of the curve.

Our Story

Oakley Coaching was established in 2016 in response to the growing demand for coaching within the public and private healthcare industry, following Philippa and Rhiannon’s personal experience of being coached and finding it so powerful for their own personal development.

We have spoken at the COPA Conference, the British Chiropractic Association autumn conference, and have have delivered lectures through the Royal College of Chiropractors and the global Evidence-Based Chiropractic Network. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we were delighted to support the CPD requirements of UK Chiropractors, Osteopaths and other manual therapists by delivering accredited CPD webinars.

We are delighted to be the only UK provider of CPD accredited coaching specific to Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Physiotherapists.

We are proactive, performance-driven coaches who can assist your team at all levels.

Philippa Oakley

A qualified chiropractor with ten years experience within the NHS and private health sector, Philippa has a thorough understanding of the demands on team members and can help identify and initiate positive change within your practice.

Philippa graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic and was awarded the RCC’s prize for best research project for her work into how thoughts and feelings surrounding back pain can impact a patient’s response to care. She began her career working for a group of private clinics with an NHS AQP contract, completing a PgCert in Professional Development (Chiropractic) with AECC and receiving the Graham Heale Award for Outstanding Postgraduate Training Candidate.

Philippa runs Acorn Health, a former multidisciplinary clinic that successfully pivoted to a virtual health service during the pandemic, and through Oakley Coaching enjoys working with practitioners to help them develop their soft skills and improve their outcomes from care with coaching skills.
